Robust Device!
I like the quality of this tablet holder! It holds my iPad and iPad Mini very nicely. It is just a little too big for my Asus Google Nexus 7 (2nd Generation) Tablet. I was very surprised but I am willing to make a minor adjustment to allow it to hold this thin tablet. It is a very robust device! I'm still trying to decide how to transport it without having to keep assembling and disassembling it after each use. I feel screwing it in and out repeatedly will eventually damage the remote. That is just my personal feeling. Overall 4 Stars! Would have been 5 stars had my Asus fitted!

My thoughts on the Lifthor
I am very impressed with the quality build of the lifthor. It's very easy to set up. The lanyard quick release is a plus, but it would have been nice if the lanyard straps are adjustable. In all fairness I highly recommend this product especially if you are like myself a YouTube that flys 2 to 5 batteries in one session. I am glad this product was invented hand out for the consumers. But I would like to see some upgrades to the lifthor and a separate purchase or a lifthor plus. My thought on the upgrades would be some sort extension to rest the index fingers that prevents accidental push of the A and B button. This upgrade can attach to the aluminum frame underneath the control. I have plexiglass and I am considering on molding and creating such homemade upgrade for now.

Great, but not for me
The other reviews express most of the same good features that I have experienced. My two gripes why this is not for me: 1) Once it's installed to the controller, the compact mobility for travel is non-existent. It's a solid and rigid design which is great for flying, and with the lanyard I'm confident that my tablet (albeit a slow 5.5 android Samsung Galaxy Tab S) is perfectly secured. When I first attempted mounting the tablet, the extending grip arm felt like it extended too easy and didn't provide enough retention, but there's a locking mechanism at the base of the extender. It's a really good design. 2) Maybe I'm splitting hairs, but when this is installed, I fly with the antennas pointing down and at 45° (or 225° to be most correct). The mount prevents the antennas from rotating totally parallel and flat with the ground, so I suspect this limits the range if the antennas cannot perfectly face the drone. I generally don't fly at maximum range though, so maybe it's a moot point. It's a bit expensive, but it works great as a tablet holder, just not as my travel companion.

Great holder but with the EVO there should be a bit more room to adjust the antennas
I like this tablet mount. It is very sturdy. I did have a large tablet that fit but am using it with a Samsung 8 inch tablet that was a bit small. So I got a tablet case holder to make the tablet a bit larger. the case is in orange so it matches the EVO and Thor holder. I also need a Cable for the controller and a sun shade.

Nearly perfect
This tablet carrier solves all my issues with the EVO Remote Control. Once assembled, it provides a well balanced controller/display, handling my 9.7" tab with ease. It feels solid and actually improves on the poor ergonomics of the stock RC, such that there absolutely NO issues as to visibility or control usability. The main reason I decided on this holder was the neck strap attachment, which works wonders for long stretches at the helm. Couple of niggles: (1) Once installed on the RC, the Lifthor makes it impossible to use any carrier designed for the EVO RC. I found it necessary to remove the holder before transporting the outfit. (2) The actual assembly procedure requires one to pay CLOSE attention to the minimal instructions, but doing so makes everything pretty clear. (3) Finally, the knurled head screws provided to allow assembly/disassembly are too small to allow sufficient torque application. I find myself doing a "ground check" to ensure the screws are tight enough before each flight, and even then I'm a bit worried one or more might come loose while in use. These minor points aside, this is by far the best aftermarket tab holder for the EVO I've tried, and I'm a VERY happy camper...

First and only one to Have
This Tablet holder is one of the best I have seen for Drones I cannot say enough about it The only thing that I wish i could fine to use with it is a Cable from the controller with the USB end straight down from where it plugs into the controller the controller Other than that awesome
