DJI Mavic Air 2
- 8K Hyperlapse Time-Lapse Video
- Up to 4K60p Video & 48MP Images
- Up to 34 Minutes of Flight Time
- Remote Controller Included
A midrange drone with flagship features, the DJI Mavic Air 2 combines a foldable and portable frame with a high-end camera system. The 3-axis gimbal sports a 1/2" CMOS sensor capable of capturing 8K Hyperlapse time-lapse shots, 4K60 video, 240 fps slow-motion 1080p video, and up to 48MP stills. In addition, photos, panoramas, and video can be captured in HDR for more dynamic results. All your footage can be saved to 8GB of internal storage and on optional SD cards up to 256GB in size.
Helping you capture all this stunning footage is a host of built-in tracking technologies and intelligent obstacle avoidance. FocusTrack combines three different tracking features with abilities that include tracking of subjects and following predetermined flight paths. The Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems 3.0 (APAS) is aware of the Mavic Air 2 in 3D space and its proximity to people and objects to help avoid accidental collisions. Return to Home (RTH) and precision landing options are supported so you can easily and safely retrieve the drone when you finish filming.
A robust 3500mAh battery can keep the Mavic Air 2 flying for up to 34 minutes at a time. While in the air, you can fly the drone at speeds up to 43 mph, up to 11.5 miles away, and as high as 3.11 miles. The included remote controller supports OcuSync 2.0 technology to provide you with flight telemetry data and a live view of what the drone sees on your attached smartphone. It can transmit up to 1080p quality video from up to 6.2 miles away. Altogether, the Mavic Air 2 gives you the tools you need to expand your filmmaking with creative and professional quality aerial footage.
FocusTrack
- ActiveTrack 3.0: Follows a target while avoiding obstacles and works to reidentify targets if lost, such as when going behind a tree
- Spotlight 2.0: Fly freely while locking the camera on a subject; just tap a subject on the remote and fly
- POI 3.0: Creates an automated path to fly around a target while keeping the camera centered; works with flat surfaces and can dynamically track objects such as people, cars, and boats
Hyperlapse Time-Lapse Shots
- Free: Move the Mavic Air 2 where you want with total freedom
- Circle: Lock onto a subject and the Mavic Air 2 will circle it while continuously capturing footage
- Course Lock: This locks the gimbal onto a subject, automatically turning to keep it in the frame as you fly towards and past the subject
- WayPoint: Set a specific, savable flight path (up to 5 points) in 3D space for a single time-lapse, or for multiple shots at different times to edit together later

DJI Mavic Air 2
Haven't had a chance to fly it but only for a few 30 min adventures but it seems to handle the wind well. The features on this bird are awesome. I like the ideal that you can see direction the quad is pointed from the controller. The plane in area notification. All the flight modes, a ton of bang for the buck .

Magic. Air2
I just received my drone this week and I am still working my way through everything but so far all is good

Excellent
Very happy with my Mavic Air 2 from Drone-Works. Fun and easy to fly, it takes beautiful photos and video! Excellent service as always.

Batteries
the batteries only last maybe 20 minutes max on normal and that is not what I was expecting and I would like something corrected. As far as the drone I think its good and I like it but I would like to talk about the battery life.

This think is amazing!
I love this little drone! It has almost everything i was looking for in a mid to high level drone. Only missing some adjustments with camera settings, that will hopefully be fixed with future SW updates. Only major thing missing is top and side sensors for collision avoidance - That would complete this package. Long shipping time but due to COVID-19 I understand. Great product!

First Drone- Amazing!
I saw a lot of folks talk bad about this drone when it released from DJI having never laid hands on it, so I was a bit skeptical but I knew it would be a great starter for me. It has exceeded my expectations. As a new pilot I wasn't sure how hard it would be to fly, but this thing practically flies itself with the obstacle avoidance and easy controls. The camera is amazing and will take great photos that don't need any editing. Just make sure you do some research on youtube and learn best practices on how to operate and maintain it. DJI's manuals and vidoes leave a lot to be desired, but the service from Drone-Works does not! Thanks guys.

Great drone for the money!
I have owned the Mavic Pro for 3 years, Not flown a lot during that time, but was wanting to upgrade. When I heard about the Air 2 it made sense to me and for the price, I could not pass it up. Not disappointed at all. Flies great and video and picture quality I think is better than the Mavic Pro and was less money. Drone Works shipped out quickly and had no issues. Taking my 107 exam next week looking to work drone photography/video into my existing photography business.
